{"id":978,"date":"2019-10-11T08:30:22","date_gmt":"2019-10-11T08:30:22","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/romaindaigmorte.com\/?p=978"},"modified":"2023-04-24T10:32:16","modified_gmt":"2023-04-24T10:32:16","slug":"blizzard-creuse-sa-tombe","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/romaindaigmorte.com\/en\/2019\/10\/11\/blizzard-creuse-sa-tombe\/","title":{"rendered":"Blizzard creuse sa tombe&#8230;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&#8230;toujours plus profond\u00e9ment. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p> Il y a quelques mois, j&rsquo;avais d\u00e9j\u00e0 \u00e9crit un article sur <a href=\"http:\/\/romaindaigmorte.com\/en\/quel-avenir-pour-blizzard\/\">la situation d\u00e9licate de Blizzard-Activision <\/a>qui <strong>peinait \u00e0 tenir la route face \u00e0 des concurrents plus jeunes, plus ing\u00e9nieux et plus agiles. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Aujourd&rsquo;hui <strong>c&rsquo;est un nouveau drama qui vient frapper le g\u00e9ant am\u00e9ricain <\/strong>dans un contexte tout \u00e0 fait diff\u00e9rent mais aux cons\u00e9quences plut\u00f4t lourdes\u2026 Dans la nuit du 05 au 06 octobre 2019, lors d&rsquo;un tournoi Heartstone, <strong>un joueur professionnel hong-kongais profite de sa pr\u00e9sence sur le live Twitch pour afficher son soutien aux citoyens Hong-Kongais<\/strong> en pleine r\u00e9volte contre leur gouvernement. Le live est pr\u00e9cipitamment coup\u00e9 et laisse place \u00e0 une publicit\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Quelques jours plus tard, la sanction tombe : l<strong>e joueur hong-kongais est exclu du tournoi en cours, radi\u00e9 de la ligue pendant 1 an et le cashprize (gain gagn\u00e9 lors d&rsquo;un tournoi) de son dernier tournoi est annul\u00e9.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Les soutiens aux joueurs ne se sont pas fait attendre : <strong>plusieurs partenaires Blizzard, dont des casters, ont d\u00e9missionn\u00e9 de leur fonction et les fans ont lanc\u00e9 le hashtag #BoycottBlizzard sur twitter<\/strong>, appelant les joueurs<br> Blizzard \u00e0 supprimer leur compte et effacer tous leurs jeux appartenant \u00e0 la licence Blizzard-Activision.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La question que tout le monde se pose, pourquoi une sanction aussi s\u00e9v\u00e8re ? Une exclusion du tournoi et un rappel \u00e0 l&rsquo;ordre auraient tr\u00e8s bien pu suffire pour violation du contrat. <strong>Mais la Chine repr\u00e9sente un march\u00e9 essentiel pour l&rsquo;\u00e9diteur de jeux-vid\u00e9o<\/strong> et on connait bien les pratiques du gouvernement chinois quand il est amen\u00e9 \u00e0 \u00eatre critiqu\u00e9 ou contest\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Personnellement, \u00e7a m&rsquo;attriste r\u00e9ellement de voir Blizzard encha\u00eener les mauvaises d\u00e9cisions et je pense <strong>qu&rsquo;aucun \u00e9diteur de jeux-vid\u00e9o ou entreprise en g\u00e9n\u00e9ral ne devrait c\u00e9der \u00e0 la pression d&rsquo;un gouvernement pour des int\u00e9r\u00eats \u00e9conomiques<\/strong>, m\u00eame si dans la r\u00e9alit\u00e9 ce n&rsquo;est jamais aussi simple.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Contexte plus que tendu donc pour l&rsquo;\u00e9diteur qui n&rsquo;a toujours pas pris officiellement la parole depuis <strong>alors que la BlizzCon est dans quelques semaines<\/strong>, la s\u00e9ance de questions\/r\u00e9ponses s&rsquo;annonce chaude\u2026<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&#8230;toujours plus profond\u00e9ment.
